Alex Constantine is an American anti-fascist researcher and writer. Recent books include Psychic Dictatorship in the USA II (2009), and Fascism in America: The Essential Mae Brussell (editor, 2009). Constantine began reporting on American fascism in 1988 with The Constantine Report, a half-hour weekly radio news program broadcast over KAZU-FM in Monterey, California. He has since hosted several documentaries for the BBC and domestic cable, written for a number of magazines and newspapers, including Hustler, High Times and the L.A. Weekly, was featured in an Inside Edition segment in 1995. He has been interviewed on a variety of cable networks, including the Discovery and History Channels, and he has done scores of television and radio interviews across the country and in the UK. London’s Observer rated Constantine’s The Covert War against Rock “one of the 50 best books on music ever written.” He began posting on the Internet in 1995.
